Looking for a great way to spend this Saturday night? You’re in luck, because roller derby is returning to the Detroit Masonic Temple.
To celebrate the return of the Detroit Derby Girls for the 2013 Season, the Masonic Temple will be offering $2 beers from doors until first whistle – approximately 6-7 p.m. – and a $5 Stoli specialty cocktail all evening long.
Tickets are just $15 and available online now at Brown Paper Tickets – they’re going fast, so get yours today! Or you can buy your tickets in person at Woodward Avenue Brewers in Ferndale through Friday, November 16. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door. The box office opens at 5 p.m., doors open at 6, and the bout – featuring The Detroit Pistoffs and the Grand Prix Madonnas – starts at 7.
The drink specials won’t be the only sweet deal you’ll find in the Drill Hall on November 17 – we’ll also be offering a special on tickets to our next bout on Saturday, December 8: buy two tickets or more and get parking for just $5 – an $11 savings from the price at the door.
Halftime entertainment will be provided by The Bop Shop, and admission to the after party at the Mercury Burger Bar is free with your ticket stub.
The Masonic Temple is located at 500 Temple Street in Detroit. Up to two children twelve and under are admitted to Detroit Derby Girls bouts for free with each adult admission.

Hey DDG friends and supporters!
Chase & Living Social want to give a small business $250,000! We want that small business to be The Detroit Derby Girls!
The DDG is skater owned and operated, but we, as skaters, do not profit from the league. Every dollar made through merchandise, ticket sales or fundraisers go right back to the league to pay for venue rental (both practices and bouts), travel team(s) expenses, swag, marketing materials, uniforms, etc.
Please take a few moments to log onto (log on through Facebook)
Search ‘Detroit Derby Girls’ (it is case sensitive) and submit your vote by June 30.
If you can, please post what # your vote is and help us spread the word!
Thanks for supporting your Deeeeeetroit Derby Girls!
